Corporate Environmental Training is aimed at creating joint responsibility and involvement amongst employees to creatively utilise and care for their environment.

"Each member of staff is a 'cell' in the corporate organism, and as such, no ecology-minded firm can operate effectively unless its workers are well versed in the environmental outlook."

- Business and the Environment (Georg Winter, 1988)

The goals of our Corporate Environmental Training are:
  • to expose the corporate sector to relevant environmental trends
  • to establish the environmental training needs in corporations
  • to develop and implement environmental training programmes which are contectually relevant to employees on an individual as well as an organisational level.
  • to network with other organisations to ensure a more extensive service.

Our products are specifically designed to meet the needs of:

1. Senior and Line Management
Integrated Environmental Management Training:
Training takes place within a natural environment, such as a game reserve. We explore the connections and interdependence between the natural and corporate environments and illustrate that the distinctions made between these environments are in fact artificial.

Topics are waste management, sustainable development and the role of Environmental Impact Assessments (EIAs). Training involves case studies, discussions and practical activities involving the natural environment.

2. Employees Directly Involved in Environmental Management
Workshops are offered for the development and implementation of environmental policy and strategy within companies. Training involves discussion groups, case studies and problem solving.

3. Workers
Corporate Environmental Theatre:
Employees themselves are trained as actors through theatre improvisation. They themselves are then responsible for training the rest of the workforce in responsible utilisation of their environment. Theatre as a medium ensures audience participation and creative learning. It deals with the subject matter in a practicial and informal way, introducing humour and enjoyment. By involving the workforce themselves in the creation and production of environmental theatre, close identification with the learning material is ensured.

Possible themes are:
*Waste management and utilisation
*The efficient use of raw materials
*Occupational Health and Safety.
